Class Name: Purse Carry with Confidence

Lunch: 30 minutes – bring snacks and water

Location: 407 Gun Club, 831 FM 407, Argyle, TX 76226

Ammo Requirement: 100 rounds (available for purchase @ range)

Equipment Needed: Bring what you have, email me if you need something.

Age: 18+

I will meet you in the lobby of 407 Gun Club at @9am. Range opens at 9 – no need to be early but please try to be on time. Please arrive by 9am to sign waivers and pay a $15 range fee. If you paid a deposit, your additional class fee will be collected at that time.

Ammo Requirement: 100 rounds of appropriate caliber ammunition If you don’t understand this, I will help you the morning of class. That’s what I’m here for.

Class Description:

Times are changing and every woman has the right to protect herself comfortably and with confidence. We will be learning the PRO’S & CON’S for many of today’s most popular ways to carry! There will be an assortment of options for you to try and practice with so that your dollars spent are well researched and you are empowered knowing that you’re carrying safely. To include:

  • Backpacks
  • Fanny packs
  • Purses

You’re encouraged to bring what you have. Did you know that if you are 18 years old, you are now eligible to apply for your Texas LTC? Send them off to college in the fall READY. 

THIS CLASS INCLUDES BEGINNER HANDGUN.

TOPICS COVERED:

  • SAFETY!
  • Beginner handgun safety, manipulations, and marksmanship!
  • Optimal ways to carry off the body.
  • What makes a good carry purse. What will get you hurt?
  • Learn to safely draw from your carry option of choice – depending on class proficiency level, we reserve the right  to use practice guns for this portion. This is for everyone’s safety.
  • Live fire – learn to CONFIDENTLY WORK & shoot your gun.
  • This is a BEGINNER HANDGUN class or for those who need a refresher and want to learn to carry safely in a purse.

PLEASE BRING:

  • Eye & Ear protection (electronic is best – I have extra!).
  • Wear a cap or visor.
  • Regular neckline shirt, nothing low cut.
  • Pants & closed toed shoes. Shorts are ok.
  • Note taking supplies.
  • Great attitude!

OPTIONAL ITEMS IF YOU HAVE THEM:

  • Carry gun with 50 rounds of ammunition in a case – Not required.
  • Any purses that you bought to carry in that are collecting dust
