**Bring snacks and hydration. There are literally NO vending machines on the property.**

Prerequisite: Beginner Handgun…this class is not for those who have never touched a firearm before. You truly need to have had a beginner handgun class (NOT just LTC). Please reach out with questions! [email protected]

On class day, I will meet you in the lobby of 407 Gun Club to sign waivers and pay the range fee. 407 Gun Club’s main lobby is at the far back of the parking lot BEHIND the BBQ restaurant and the barn shaped building FACES FM407.

Equipment Needed:

• Bring what you have, email me if you need help, I have plenty of options to try before you buy.
• Eye protection
• Ear protection
• Firearm and 50 rounds.

Age: 18+

Ammo Requirement: 50 rounds of appropriate caliber ammunition If you don’t understand this, I will help you the morning of class. That’s what I’m here for. Ammunition is not included in the cost of this class.

Class Description:

Times are changing and every person has the right to protect him/herself comfortably and with confidence. We will be learning the PROS & CONS for many of today’s most popular ways to carry OFF of the body!  We need flexible options! This class includes beginner handgun/review. There will be an assortment of options for you to try and practice with so that your dollars spent are well researched and you are empowered knowing that you’re carrying safely. To include:

• Backpacks
• Fanny packs
• Purses

You’re encouraged to bring what you have. Did you know that if you are 18 years old, you are now eligible to apply for your Texas LTC?

TOPICS COVERED:

• THIS CLASS INCLUDES BEGINNER HANDGUN review.
• SAFETY!
• How laws affect this method of carry.
• Beginner handgun safety, manipulations, and marksmanship
• Flexible ways to carry off the body.
• What makes a good flex carry option? What will get you hurt?
• Learn to safely draw from your carry option of choice – depending on class proficiency level, we reserve the right to use practice guns for this portion. This is for everyone’s safety.
• Live fire – learn to CONFIDENTLY WORK & shoot your gun.
• This is a BEGINNER HANDGUN class or for those who need a refresher and want to learn to carry safely in a purse. It is not fast paced.

PLEASE BRING:

• Eye & Ear protection (electronic is best – I have extra!).
• Wear a cap or visor.
• Regular neckline shirt, nothing low cut.
• Pants & closed toed shoes. Shorts are ok.
• Note taking supplies.
• Great attitude!

OPTIONAL ITEMS IF YOU HAVE THEM:

• Carry gun. Email me if you don’t have one. Some students use this class to see what a good carry gun & a good carry option is. I have extra guns I can bring.
• Any purses that you bought to carry in that are collecting dust.

• CLASSES: 72 hours’ notice is needed for a class.
• If you are before the 72-hour mark, you may transfer to the next available class that has room.
• If you cancel before the 48-hour mark, you may rebook to the next available class that has room for $50.
