Location: 407 Gun Club 831 FM 407 W, Argyle, Texas 76226

Try and arrive 15 minutes before class time to sign range waivers and pay $15 range fee. I will meet you in the lobby of 407 Gun Club for waivers and range fee. If for some reason I’m not there yet, the gentlemen will know I have a class. 407 Gun Club Lobby is a barn looking building with a TV monitor on it at the far back of the parking lot and it faces FM 407. It is BEHIND 407 BBQ.

If you pay a deposit, you will be invoiced the remainder owed the week of class. It MUST be paid prior to class start. We have no cell service on the range and do not have time for administrative tasks.

 

Ammo Requirement: 50 rounds of appropriate caliber ammunition if you’re bringing your own firearm. If you’re using mine, I provide everything.

 

Equipment Needed: appropriate range attire for an indoor gun range. Keep reading!

Other things to consider bringing: Snacks, lunch and hydration. We will NOT break for lunch. We will be on the range from 9-1pm then class 1-4pm with small breaks. Students usually and are welcome to eat during the class portion. We will not break long enough to leave for food.

Class Description:
Your very first experience with a handgun should be a positive experience, PERIOD. If it’s not, you’ll never want to shoot again. I’ve made it my mission to EMPOWER my students through positive reinforcement in the class and on the range! This class is taught by a female firearms instructor who trains the everyday person how to safely learn their way around a handgun! This is a great class if your dad or brother taught you to shoot or if you need a refresher because it’s been a month of Sundays since you’ve shot.

 

Class Goals:
Students will leave with a good understanding of:

· Firearm safety rules.

· Build CONFIDENCE through “working/manipulating” your firearm properly.

· How to CONFIDENTLY hit your target.

· Proper range etiquette (what to expect on the range) this possibly being the 1st time
you’re a student on a live fire range, under the direction of a “Range Master”. A range master or instructor is the person on the range who is giving commands.

· 1st Shots to diagnose any issues.

· LTC qualification and LTC class portion, you will receive state required documentation to file for your license to carry.

 

EXPERIENCE LEVEL: NONE

· Brand New Shooter w/good attitude, or if you need a refresher.
· Must be 18 to file for Texas LTC.

 

EQUIPMENT NEEDED FOR RANGE:

· None. All equipment will be provided. Everything is provided, just bring a snack and
hydration.

· Feel free to bring your firearm, if you have one, to get more familiar with it. Remember, bring your own ammunition if you bring your gun. It can also be purchased at the range.

· Seriously, just show up ready to learn in a positive environment.

HOW TO DRESS FOR RANGE DAY: INDOOR RANGE

· Long pants are a good idea. Shorts are allowed.

· Closed-toe shoes (NON-NEGOTIABLE) No flip flops or sandals please.

· High collared shirt – a regular t-shirt is perfectly good; tank top or v neck shirts are not. Brass going down your shirt is very hot!

· A ball cap or visor is highly suggested.

REGISTRATION/REFUND POLICIES & TERMS:
There are no refunds unless I am unable to teach. Once you’ve registered, your class /lesson is confirmed. I will use our email as confirmation. If your cancel notice isn’t within the below parameters, a rebooking fee applies, or registration fees paid are forfeited. So PLEASE try and make every effort to be at your class/lesson. CLASSES:
· 72 hours’ notice is needed for a class.

· If you are before the 72-hour mark, you may transfer to the next available class that
has room.

· If you cancel before the 48-hour mark, you may rebook to the next available class that has room for $50.
