Your lesson & class has been created to help you develop into a safe & well rounded TRAINED citizen. Knowing the law is to your benefit. I will help you ace your Texas License to Carry proficiency test. Class & lesson are both taught by a FEMALE DPS CERTIFIED LTC Instructor and School Safety Instructor (arming Texas Teachers).

INCLUDED:

CLASS PORTION:

• Class portion of your Texas LTC covering laws on use of force, where you can carry, safe storage & non violent dispute resolution.
• 25 question written test (true/false & multiple choice)
• Food & AWESOME coffee is available during class but not included in your class fee.

• NOT INCLUDED: SMALL RANGE FEE ON OUR LESSON DAY
• Just you & me, no need to have performance fear or anxiety around other classmates.
• Firearm safety rules.
• Building CONFIDENCE through “working/manipulating”  the gun properly.
• How to CONFIDENTLY hit your target.
• Proper range etiquette (what to expect on the range) this possibly being the 1st time you’re a student on a live fire range, under the direction of a “Range Master”. A range master or instructor is the person on the range who is giving commands.
• 1st Shots to diagnose any issues…then…
• License To Carry live fire test.

 

EXPERIENCE LEVEL: NONE, ZERO, NADA

• Brand New Shooter w/good attitude, or if you need a refresher.
• Must be 21 years old to file for your Texas LTC (formerly CHL).

 

EQUIPMENT NEEDED FOR RANGE LESSON:

• None. All equipment will be provided.
• Seriously just show up ready to be empowered!

HOW TO DRESS FOR RANGE DAY: Remember, this is a different day. Email me HERE to schedule your private lesson.

• Long pants are a good idea. Shorts are allowed.
• Closed-toe shoes (NON NEGOTIABLE) No flip flops or sandals.
• High collared shirt – a regular t-shirt is perfectly good, tank top or v neck shirts are not. Brass going down your shirt is very hot!
• A ball cap or visor is suggested.

 

REGISTRATION POLICIES & TERMS:

• Cancellation: 50% of class fee is a non-refundable deposit.
• No-Show: Participants who do not show to the event without prior 72-hour notice forfeit their total registration fees.
• Please Note: I am a “one man show”, wife, & mother. If I get sick or there are unforeseen circumstances or emergencies that cause a class to be cancelled, please have grace. All efforts will be made to reschedule the class with as much notice as possible. If a reschedule is not possible for you, a refund will be issued via paper check within 14 business days.
