Once your class /lesson is confirmed I will use our email as confirmation. If your cancel notice isn’t within the below parameters, a rebooking fee applies or registration fees paid are forfeited. So PLEASE try and make every effort to be at your class/lesson.

CLASSES: 72 hours notice is needed for a class.
-If you are before the 72 hour mark, you may transfer to the next available class that has room.
-If you cancel before the 48 hour mark, you may rebook to the next available class that has room for $50.
-If you cancel within 24 hours of class start time, all registration fees are forfeited.

LESSONS:
-If 24 hour notice is given, you may rebook for FREE once. If another rebooking is needed after that, a $50 rebook fee applies.
-If +2 hours notice is given for a lesson you may rebook for $50.
-If -2 hours notice is given all registration fees are forfeited.

Intro to Pistol Mounted Optics (red dots)

Location: 407 Gun Club

10-4pm

$15 range fee paid to the range on class day.

Instructor: Mindy Kay Ray (link to credentials)

Plan on being at the range 15 minutes PRIOR to start time.  I will meet you in the main lobby where you check in and pay the range fee.

Seating is limited & available on 1st come; 1st serve basis for safety of all students.

If you pay a deposit, I will invoice you the remaining balance the week of class. It must be paid before the class day.

This class is designed to develop safe & well-rounded citizens who believe that having a pistol mounted optic gives them an advantage over traditional iron sights.

Prerequisites

  • Beginner Handgun AND
  • Holster draw or Conceal with Confidence class.

Class Goals:

We will cover a wide range of important topics surrounding pistol mounted optics to include:

  1. How to zero your pistol mounted optic.
  2. Effective draw techniques.
  3. Utilizing the necessary information for accurate shots.
  4. Optimizing pistol mounted optics at different distances.
  5. What happens when my pistol mounted optic becomes inoperable.

Please arrive at class with following equipment:

  1. Slide mounted optic on your pistol.
  2. The ability to carry an extra magazine.
  3. A good-quality holster (excluding Serpas and old leather or any soft holsters). Inside or outside the waistband is ok.
  4. 250 rounds of reliable ammunition.
  5. Eye and ear protection.
  6. A Sharpie marker.
  7. Enough food & drink for the day. We will not leave for lunch and there are no vending machines on the property.

ATTIRE: Range appropriate attire.

  1. Long pants are a good idea.
  2. Closed-toe shoes (NON-NEGOTIABLE)
  3. High collared shirt (t-shirts are good, tank top or v neck is not).
  4. Brimmed ball cap or visor cap recommended but not required.
