Duration: 4 hours

Lunch: We will break and eat a snack so bring snacks and hydration. There are literally NO vending machines on the property.

Location: 407 Gun Club, 831 FM 407, Argyle, TX 76226

On class day, I will meet you in the lobby of 407 Gun Club to sign waivers and pay the range fee. 407 Gun Club’s main lobby is at the far back of the parking lot BEHIND the BBQ restaurant and the barn shaped building FACES FM407.

DESCRIPTION

This class is for YOU if….

You are the lady who has had a beginner handgun class or lesson, or it’s been a long time since you’ve shot … .and you’re not quite ready to advance to carrying your handgun just yet. You’d like to “build your confidence behind your gun” a bit more.

We will be in a small group setting with an emphasis on safety. We will be working on how to manipulate your firearm confidently and understanding what it takes to get that “ideal grouping” on your target.

This is NOT a 1st shot class. That’s Beginner Handgun!

This is a 4 hour class, designed to develop safe & well-rounded NEW shooters. Taught by an Advanced Rangemaster, FEMALE DPS CERTIFIED LTC Instructor/School Safety Instructor (arming Texas Teachers).

 

Class Goals:

The class topic will be focused on the fundamentals of marksmanship. The goal is to not  guess if you’ll hit your target. We want each student to understand the importance of each fundamental and learn exactly what it takes to hit their target.

• Firearm safety review.
• Firearm familiarization review. Learn how to WORK your gun safely and properly! Let’s get CONFIDENT!
• The class topic will be focused on the fundamentals of marksmanship.The goal is to not  guess if you’ll hit your target. We want each student to understand the importance of each fundamental and learn exactly what it takes to hit their target.
• Proper range etiquette review (what to expect on the range) for a live fire class, under the direction of a “Range Master” (an instructor on the range telling you what to do vs going alone).

EXPERIENCE LEVEL:

EQUIPMENT NEEDED:

• Working handgun .22 or above.
• 100 rounds of “target” or “range” ammunition. (Email with any questions)
• Eye & ear protection.
• Rentals are available for an additional $40 (ammo IS INCLUDED with your rental and it will be 9mm). You can rent on the day of class.

ATTIRE: Range appropriate attire.

• Long pants are a good idea. Shorts are allowed.
• Closed-toe shoes (NONNEGOTIABLE)
• High collared shirt (t-shirts are good, tank top or v neck shirts are not).
• Brimmed ball cap or visor cap highly recommended but not required.
• Rain gear (jacket /rain boots), just in case.
• Sunscreen

 

REGISTRATION/REFUND POLICIES & TERMS:

There are no refunds unless I am unable to teach.

Once you’ve registered, your class /lesson is confirmed. I will use our email as confirmation. If your cancel notice isn’t within the below parameters, a rebooking fee applies or registration fees paid are forfeited. So PLEASE try and make every effort to be at your class/lesson.

CLASSES: 72 hours’ notice is needed for a class.

-If you are before the 72-hour mark, you may transfer to the next available class that has room.

-If you cancel before the 48-hour mark, you may rebook to the next available class that has room for $50.

Bring water and snacks. Hydration is your responsibility and there are no vending machines (food or water) on the property.
