Beginner Youth Range Day (ages 8-12)

This Youth Range Day will teach your new shooter the very basics of firearm knowledge and the skills and attitude necessary for them to use a firearm safely. 

We will be in a small group setting with multiple instructors to give direct attention to your child to make sure he/she is able to learn the skills presented in a stress free, POSITIVE environment. The focus of this day is to BE SAFE and HAVE FUN!

Subjects Covered:

• Safety 1st!
• Proper firearm manipulations.
• Fundamentals of marksmanship with emphasis on both the .22 semi-automatic handgun and .22LR bolt action rifle (FUN!) 
• Range time with live fire & includes age appropriate drills.
• Hands on instruction in a small group environment.

This class is designed for our youth with little to no knowledge of handguns. 

The 1st hour of the class is spent in the classroom discussing firearm safety and how to handle them appropriately, proper manipulations and the fundamentals of marksmanship.

Then we move to the range to put our newfound skills to work in a fun and positive environment!

The morning course is for children ages 8 -12 years old.
If your child is between the ages of 13 and 17, please register them in the afternoon class.

A registration for this class is for a youth shooter. A parent/guardian for every youth shooter registered must be present during the length of the course but will not participate. If the parent/guardian would like to actively participate with the youth, they can simply register for the course as well. What a fun range date with your new shooter!

Required Equipment: None

Please bring: WATER, hydration is up to you!

What to wear: high collared t-shirt, closed toe shoes. Shorts are ok.

Equipment provided: Eye & ear protection, guns, ammunition, & targets.

Prerequisites: Minimum of 8 years old and a positive attitude!
