Beginner Handgun (Men & Women) October 9th, 2021

Equipment Needed: working handgun .22 or above + 30 rounds of ammunition. Rentals available for $30 and include ammunition

Description: This is a 2 hour class, designed to develop safe & well rounded NEW shooters. Taught by a FEMALE DPS CERTIFIED LTC Instructor/School Safety Instructor (arming Texas Teachers). We will spend 1 hour in the classroom & 1 hour on the range. You should take THIS class before renting/purchasing a handgun. If you already have one, bring it.

INCLUDED:

• Firearm safety.
• Firearm familiarization. Learn how to WORK your gun properly! Let’s get CONFIDENT!

• Fundamentals of marksmanship (Don’t guess if you’ll hit your target, learn exactly what it takes).

• Proper range etiquette (what to expect on the range) for a live fire class, this possibly being the 1st time you’re a student on a live fire range, under the direction of a “Range Master” (someone telling you what to do).
• 1st Shots!

EXPERIENCE LEVEL:

• Brand New Shooter w/good attitude, or need a refresher. If your student is between the ages of 12-17 years old please email me before you register them @

• Eye & ear protection.
• Rentals are available (ammo IS INCLUDED with your rental) $30. You can rent on the day of class.

ATTIRE: Range appropriate attire.

• Long pants are a good idea. Shorts are allowed.
• Closed-toe shoes (NONNEGOTIABLE)
• High collared shirt (t-shirts are good, tank top or v neck shirts are not).
• Brimmed ball cap or visor cap highly recommended but not required.
• Rain gear (jacket /rain boots), just in case.
• Sunscreen

VERY IMPORTANT: Plan on being at the range address 15 minutes PRIOR to class start!
