Once your class /lesson is confirmed I will use our email as confirmation. If your cancel notice isn’t within the below parameters, a rebooking fee applies or registration fees paid are forfeited. So PLEASE try and make every effort to be at your class/lesson.

CLASSES: 72 hours notice is needed for a class.
-If you are before the 72 hour mark, you may transfer to the next available class that has room.
-If you cancel before the 48 hour mark, you may rebook to the next available class that has room for $50.
-If you cancel within 24 hours of class start time, all registration fee’s are forfeited.

LESSONS:
-If 24 hour notice is given, you may rebook for FREE once. If another rebooking is needed after that, a $50 rebook fee applies.
-If +2 hours notice is given for a lesson you may rebook for $50.
-If -2 hours notice is given all registration fee’s are forfeited.

Ammo Requirement: 50 rounds of appropriate caliber ammunition, if you’re bringing your own firearm. If you’re using mine, I provide everything.
Equipment Needed: appropriate range attire for an indoor gun range

 

Class Description:

  • Your very first experience with a handgun should be positive PERIOD. If it’s not, you’ll never want to shoot again. I’ve made it my mission to EMPOWER my students through positive reinforcement in the class and on the range! This class is taught by a female firearms instructor who trains the everyday person how to safely learn their way around a handgun! This is a great class if your dad or brother taught you to shoot or if you need a refresher because it’s been a month of Sundays since you’ve shot.
     
    SPECIAL NOTE!
    We will run the TX LTC shooting qualification in this class. If you need your LTC, plan on staying after the shooting class for about 4 hours to finish it up. Cost is an additional $50. Email me if you want to do this and I’ll invoice you separately.
    Students will learn…
    • Firearm safety rules.
    • Building CONFIDENCE through “working/manipulating” your firearm properly.
    • How to CONFIDENTLY hit your target.
    • Proper range etiquette (what to expect on the range) this possibly being the 1st time you’re a student on a live fire range, under the direction of a “Range Master”. A range master or instructor is the person on the range who is giving commands.
    • 1st Shots to diagnose any issues.
    • NOT INCLUDED – SMALL RANGE FEE ($15) ON CLASS DAY.

     

    EXPERIENCE LEVEL: NONE

    • Brand New Shooter w/good attitude, or if you need a refresher.
    • If your young adult would like to register, they may do so. Ages 14 and up may register with a parent who is also registered.

     

    EQUIPMENT NEEDED FOR RANGE LESSON:

    • None. All equipment will be provided. Everything is provided, just bring a snack & hydration.
    • Feel free to bring your firearm, if you have one, to get more familiar with it.
    • Seriously, just show up ready to learn in a positive environment.

     

    HOW TO DRESS FOR RANGE DAY: INDOOR RANGE

    • Long pants are a good idea. Shorts are allowed.
    • Closed-toe shoes (NON-NEGOTIABLE) No flip flops or sandals please.
    • High collared shirt – a regular t-shirt is perfectly good; tank top or v neck shirts are not. Brass going down your shirt is very hot!
    • A ball cap or visor is suggested.
    REGISTRATION POLICIES & TERMS:
    • If you cancel within 72 hours of class start time, your registration fee is nonrefundable.
    • No-Show: Participants who do not show to the event without prior 72-hour notice forfeit their total registration fees.
