**Competency Requirement *

I have had a formal beginner handgun class. This class IS ONLY for those intending to carry a firearm on the body, and for those with beginner handgun knowledge. I know the 4 NRA Safety Rules. I know how to confidently work my gun and I know how to confidently hit my target. IF NOT, please take “Beginner Handgun” or email the instructor.

There are no refunds unless I am unable to teach.

Once your class /lesson is confirmed I will use our email as confirmation. If your cancel notice isn’t within the below parameters, a rebooking fee applies or registration fees paid are forfeited. So PLEASE try and make every effort to be at your class/lesson.

CLASSES: 72 hours notice is needed for a class.
-If you are before the 72 hour mark, you may transfer to the next available class that has room.
-If you cancel before the 48 hour mark, you may rebook to the next available class that has room for $50.
-If you cancel within 24 hours of class start time, all registration fees are forfeited.

LESSONS:
-If 24 hour notice is given, you may rebook for FREE once. If another rebooking is needed after that, a $50 rebook fee applies.
-If +2 hours notice is given for a lesson you may rebook for $50.
-If -2 hours notice is given all registration fees are forfeited.

Date: 11/14/26
Time: 9 am – 3 pm
Cost: $95 ($15 range fee at time of class)
Ages 18+ can attend and be licensed.

Getting a License to Carry is an important moment for those seeking to provide protection to themselves and their loved ones. Something equally important is ensuring you have the knowledge and skills to carry safely and effectively, and understand the laws involved with doing so.

About this Course:

  • Students must be proficient in the use of a firearm and firearms safety prior to attending any of our LTC classes. 
  • This is the classroom portion of the course and will last approx. 4 – 6 hours.
  • There will be a firearm proficiency portion at the range which will last approx. 1-2 hours.
  • You must pass a written examination with a score of 70%.
  • You must show proficiency with a handgun, either a revolver or a semi-automatic, with a score of at least 70% (175 out of 250) See course of fire below.

 

Topics to be covered:

  • Laws that relate to weapons and the use of deadly force
  • Handgun use and safety.
  • Non-violent dispute resolution
  • Proper storage practices for handguns

 

State Application:

  • You do not need to apply prior to taking the course, however it is recommended to speed up the process.

 

EQUIPMENT NEEDED FOR CLASS:

·*Handgun that is .22 caliber or larger.

·*Two magazines if shooting a semi-automatic.

·*Hearing and eye protection

·*50 rounds of factory ammo (please no re-loads, brass or aluminum case only)

RENTALS AVAILABLE FOR $30 AND INCLUDE AMMUNITION.
