Shotgun 101 (Ladies & Gentlemen) October 30th, 2021

Ammo Requirement: 2 boxes of BIRDSHOT in 12 gauge

Equipment Needed: Please bring eye and ear protection. Water, snack, bug spray & sunscreen are also good ideas! Bring your shotgun if you own one. If not, there will be shotguns there to use and try.

This is a 3 hour class, ideal for the person with little to no experience using a shotgun. This is by far, the instructors FAVORITE discipline! Come find out why! Student enrollment is kept small in efforts not to overwhelm participants learning a new discipline. There will be a male and female instructor teaching tandem.

We cover all the advantages of a defensive shotgun in a SAFE and POSITIVE environment. Upon completion, students should be proficient in 1. SAFETY 2. Shotgun manipulations 3. Proper marksmanship 4. Choosing correct ammunition for the activity at a hand AND as an added bonus (if time permits) 5. Touching on skills used for competition.

This is NOT an aerial class for learning to shoot skeet or clays. After this class, you should be proficient in shotgun manipulations to go and try skeet/5 stand/clay shooting!
